James FlintLondon, Greater London, United Kingdom, United Kingdom
Bio
I'm CEO of Hospify, a compliant and secure communication platform designed specifically for use in UK & EU healthcare (www.hospify.com) which I co-founded with two doctors.

In a former life I was a technology journalist, starting out at Wired magazine and going on cover the digital revolution for a wide range of publications. This led me on to product manage various projects at the interface of media and technology: a cross-platform interaction social media drama for the BBC; a climate change wiki; a range of online tools for the Telegraph Media Group; and an SAAS video marketing platform called Videojuicer. I've also published several novels inspired by the collision of culture and technology.

I’ve recently completed the Springboard Data Science Career Track program in order to update my technical skills in data analysis and machine learning, something that I've been fascinated by since coming across the concept of neural networks as a post-grad back in 1993. And in 2018 I published a new novel, Midland, with the innovative crowdfunding publisher Unbound.
