Easan Sivaniah

Easan Sivaniah is a distinguished physicist, engineer, and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Board Member and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at OOYOO Ltd., a company he founded in 2020. OOYOO focuses on developing low-cost carbon capture technologies, drawing on over a decade of research in the field. Sivaniah leads a research and development group at Kyoto University, where he has been instrumental in advancing innovative solutions for energy and environmental challenges.1

Sivaniah has an impressive academic background, holding a doctoral degree in physics from the University of Cambridge and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Imperial College London. His previous academic appointments include positions at the University of Cambridge, the University of Leeds, and Texas Tech University, as well as a research associate role at UC Santa Barbara.2
