Earl K. Miller, PhD

Earl Miller is a renowned neuroscientist and Picower Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a focus on the neural basis of cognition and memory. He received his Ph.D. in psychology and neuroscience from Princeton University and has since received numerous awards for his scientific work, including the National Institute of Mental Health MERIT Award and the Society for Neuroscience Young Investigator Award. Professor Miller has delivered numerous lectures and serves as an editor and on the editorial boards of major journals in neuroscience. His specialties include attention, memory, cognition, multitasking, decision-making, learning, and neuromarketing.

Throughout his career, Professor Miller has held various advisory and consultant roles at organizations such as Neurable, SplitSage, and Nielsen NeuroFocus. He has also served on several advisory boards, including the International Association for the Study of Attention and Performance and the International Center for Research on the Biology of Memory. In addition to his academic appointments, he has also directed graduate programs and served on review boards for the National Institutes of Health.
