LaDeidra Roberts is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Tech, known for her expertise in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. She completed her Ph.D. at Cornell University, where she studied the role of the glycocalyx in driving membrane curvature in breast cancer. Roberts has a strong passion for teaching and mentoring and aims to pursue a tenure-track faculty position in the future. She has previously held positions as a Science Advocate, Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Student Researcher at Cornell University, along with working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology.
