David Barnhart is a space industry expert who has conceptualized, designed, and implemented several innovative space projects throughout his career. With a passion for disruptive innovation through inspiration and imagination, David aims to revolutionize the ways in which the world uses and creates space technology. His areas of expertise include on-orbit aggregation technologies, manufacturing assemble-able modules, self-reconfigurable systems, and democratizing spacecraft designs into tablet-based tools.

David has a Master of Engineering in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Boston University. He is the CEO and Co-Founder at Arkisys, and has previously held the positions of Director at the USC Space Engineering Research Center, Program Manager at DARPA, and Research Professor at the University of Southern California.
