Joshua Neubert is a highly accomplished CEO with an impressive background in science, technology, education, and incentivized innovation. He is the founder of the Institute of Competition Sciences, a leading organization that fosters the use of competitions and prizes to advance science and education. With over a decade of experience in this field, Neubert has managed to create a network of educational competitions, led NSF research grants, and overseen the development of high-profile prizes that have awarded over $9 million.
Before founding the Institute of Competition Sciences, Neubert served as a STEM education program director for the X PRIZE Foundation, where he managed a team of over 500 staff and volunteers and created a program that reached more than 12,000 students. During his tenure, he spun out the Pete Conrad Spirit of Innovation Awards as a separate foundation and served as its founding Executive Director for the first three years of operation.
A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Neubert has a deep interest in space exploration and all things geek. He uses these passions to help others achieve success in their endeavors through incentivized innovation.
