Richard Dean, a highly experienced professional in the fields of broadcast journalism and digital media, has an impressive background in both creative and technical roles. With an MA in Broadcast Journalism from American University and a BA in Anthropology from Hamilton College, Dean has held a variety of positions at organizations including The Walt Disney Company, KUT Radio, American Public Media, and Organic. Dean's expertise includes digital media production, new media development, client engagement, and e-commerce consulting, among others.

At The Walt Disney Company, he served as Director of Connected Experiences, HR Strategy Lab, and as Principal R&D Imagineer, Connected Experiences. He was also Director of Client Engagement for Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, Director of Digital Media Agency, and Director of Digital Media, Disney Studios. Prior to this, Dean held numerous positions at public media organizations, including Director of New Media at KQED and Web Consultant at Public Broadcasting Service.
