Ann Johnson is a versatile communicator with an extensive background in the tech and non-profit sectors. She has a decade of experience in communications, where she has worked with companies and organizations seeking to create a better world. Currently pursuing an MPA in Public Policy Analysis at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Ann is passionate about advocating for the health and wellbeing of communities over corporate profits.
Previously, Ann worked as a Communications Strategist at ACLU, a Media Strategist, Account Manager, and Senior Associate at Bateman Group, a Senior Marketing Manager at Get Satisfaction, a Social Media Marketing Associate at SurveyMonkey, among other roles. She has also worked as an Editor, Reporter, and Intern at Tango Diva, Hurriyet Daily News, CU Independent, and Mothers Acting Up, respectively.
As a Parke Fellow in the Elections and Government Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, Ann continues to be a leader in her industry. Her expertise in communications, advocacy, public policy, and journalism makes her a valuable asset to any organization.
