Andres Barreto, a successful seed investor and entrepreneur, is currently serving as the Managing Director at Techstars Miami. With extensive knowledge and experience in product development, analytics, and technical recruitment, Andres is a frequent speaker at conferences in the US and LATAM. He has also been recognized as one of BusinessWeek's Top 25 under 25, MIT Tech Review's Top 10 Innovators under 35, and Inc. Magazine's Top 30 under 30. With a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Florida and studies in Marketing, Economics, Accounting, and Photography from Florida International University's College of Business, Andres has founded and built numerous successful companies, including Socialatom Group, Firstrock Capital, Grooveshark, and Onswipe. Apart from his business ventures, Andres is a founding fellow of Non-Profit Coderise.
