Evan Traylor
Evan Traylor is a Jewish community builder, educator, activist, and innovator with a passion for bringing more love, justice, and truth into communities around the world. He is currently pursuing Rabbinical Studies at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion-New York. Evan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Jewish Studies, and Leadership Studies from the University of Kansas.
Evan has an impressive professional background having held several leadership roles in various organizations. He was previously the Associate Director for College Engagement at Union for Reform Judaism and Presidential Fellow for Millennial Engagement at Union for Reform Judaism. Evan was also formerly the Engagement Coordinator at KU Hillel, Co-Program Coordinator and Resident Advisor at Union for Reform Judaism, Junior Associate at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), and Intern at KU Hillel. In addition, Evan served as the President of North American Federation of Temple Youth.
As a skilled practitioner and leader in the Jewish community, Evan is committed to social justice and creating meaningful and inclusive experiences that bring people together. Through his work, he aims to inspire and empower others to make a positive impact in their communities and the world.
