David Foster

David Foster is a seasoned designer and consultant who specializes in providing insightful solutions to social and environmental challenges. Based in Dubai since 2011, he has helped numerous companies, government agencies, startups, and nonprofit organizations address complex issues by leveraging his expertise in human-centered design, user experience, communications, and social impact. David is passionate about maximizing impact and value to society through sustainable practices, especially in the areas of energy and water efficiency, green building design, and behavior modification. He is an American who holds a B.F.A. in Advertising from the Art Center College of Design and a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Colorado Boulder. He currently works as a consultant for takasolutions and has previously served as an Education and Awareness Officer at Powerwise and Waterwise, initiatives of the Regulation and Supervision Bureau of Abu Dhabi. He is also the founder and editor of BOPdesigner.com and has worked as a marketing manager for major political campaigns and Green Advantage.
