Philippe Gaude is an experienced gaming and education industry professional with over 17 years of experience. He has worked on all gaming platforms, from PC to feature phones, handhelds, consoles, Facebook, smartphones and tablets. He has co-founded and grown an independent studio, worked for established players and helped companies through mobile and free-to-play transformations.

In 2014, Philippe joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where he is currently the Vice President of Software Development. During his time at HMH, he actively contributed to the implementation of iterative and lean cross-discipline product development processes. His main focus is enabling changes by promoting production pipeline thinking, automation and devops culture in engineering, and driving the development of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools to create better products.

Philippe holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Hydraulique et de Mécanique de Grenoble and another Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Institut national polytechnique de Grenoble.

He is experienced in management, leadership, software development, production, mobile platforms, and free-to-play transformation. In his current role, Philippe is responsible for leading software development teams and creating better products through a combination of iterative and lean cross-discipline product development processes.
