Becky Hamilton is the Director of College Access & Career Services at KIPP Through College, a program that helps students from under-resourced backgrounds succeed in college and career. With her vast experience in higher education, she provides guidance to KIPP NYC students on college admissions, financial aid, and career readiness. Hamilton served at Columbia University as a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions for five years, where she led the recruitment of high-achieving students from New York City public schools. She also worked at The Posse Foundation for six years, overseeing the selection and preparation of cohorts of multicultural and first-generation students for top colleges and universities. Hamilton holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Loyola Marymount University.
