Darren Ornitz is a professional documentary photographer with a passion for adventure and exploration. He is also a meditation and yoga teacher, as well as a 50-ton USCG captain. After studying International Studies at Fordham University, Darren founded Darren Ornitz Studio, where he serves as the owner and principal photographer. Prior to this, he worked as a freelance photojournalist for Thomson Reuters and as a documentary and travel photographer for his own company, Darren Ornitz Photography. Darren has also volunteered as a meditation teacher for the Rangjung Prison Dharma Project and worked as a USCG certified captain for Sound Charters. In addition, he was a co-founder and COO of American Pressed Bakery. Darren's diverse skill set and passion for adventure help him to capture stunning, thought-provoking images that tell powerful stories.
