Daniel Blake is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator who has made a name for himself in the world of sustainability. He gained a strong reputation in 2010 when he founded EcoScraps, a company that collects food waste from large retailers and recycles it into organic, nutrient-rich gardening products. Blake quickly rose to the top, becoming the CEO of the company until it was acquired by The Hawthorne Gardening Company in 2014, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scott's Miracle-Gro.

In addition to his tenure at EcoScraps, Blake has held advisory roles at various organizations throughout his career, including serving as Managing Director at University Impact and as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University. He has also been a Senior Advisor at Curtis for Congress, a Board Member at getBlossom, and an Entrepreneur-in-residence at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company.
