Daveed Benjamin is an accomplished technologist and children's writer with a passion for decentralizing knowledge, building collective intelligence, and supporting the regeneration of the planet. Daveed holds an MS in Engineering-Economic Systems and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Throughout his career, Daveed has held leadership positions in startups, nonprofits, and social enterprises in emergent fields, focusing on product management, responsible AI, distributed ledger technology, blockchain, wisdom tech, augmented reality, and transformational entertainment. He has also worked on applied storytelling, narrative analysis, applied breathing, improvisation, inspiration, resilience, sustainability, and process improvement.

Daveed is the founder and CEO of Bridgit.io, a map for the internet. He is a Royal Society of the Arts Fellow, Active Dreaming teacher, SoulCollage® Facilitator, Green For All fellow, Founder Gym graduate, and a Warm Data Labs host. In addition, he has served as a Council Member at Regen Tulum, the Fountain, and NGI - The Next Generation Internet. Daveed was the CEO and Executive Producer of BALANCE, a board member at ASPO-USA, Director of Story-Centered Advocacy at Bay Localize, and Director of North American Operations at Post Carbon Institute. He has also been involved in several advisory roles, such as UnityChain and Covid19 Info Immunity.

Daveed created Pacha's Pajamas, an award-winning purpose-driven, extended reality children's property that features Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Cheech Marin. Currently, Daveed's focus is on decentralizing knowledge, building collective intelligence, and supporting the regeneration of the planet with his startup, Bridgit, the Regen Tulum project, and the OverWeb Foundation.
