Somnath Mukherjee is an accomplished electrical engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in product development and technology. He boasts extensive knowledge of RF/Microwave Engineering, which he has successfully applied to various projects over the years, including NFC, RFID, Wireless and Fiber-optic Communication, RF/microwave Test Equipment, and Sensors. He has a proven track record of taking innovative concepts from the idea stage to production while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process. Some of his achievements include being issued six patents, with several more awaiting approval.

Mukherjee is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he received his MSEE in Electrical Engineering. He also has a Doctor of Engineering in the same field from the University of Kansas. He additionally studied at Institute of Radio Physics & Electronics, Calcutta University, and Presidency College, Kolkata, India.

Mukherjee has held numerous senior-level positions in various organizations throughout his career. These include Senior Member Technical Staff positions at Harmonic and Anritsu, Director, Hybrid Fiber Coax Engineering at C-COR, Senior Director Engineering at Arasor Corporation, Director RF Integration at Caly Networks, and Chief Technical Consultant at Sanschip Inc., Fluid Management Systems, and Phinix LLC. He was also the Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Onirban Networks and Principal System Engineer at Thin Film Electronics Inc.

Mukherjee's professional interests are concentrated around Impedance Spectroscopy based Sensors and RFID, Radio over Fiber including analog optics including linearization, and RF/Microwave Measurements.
