Dr. Mazlan Abbas, a renowned global thought leader on the Internet of Things and digital disruption, has made remarkable contributions in the technology industry. With years of experience in various senior management positions at leading companies such as REDtone IOT, MIMOS Berhad, and Celcom, Dr. Mazlan has emerged as a respected figure in the field. He co-founded and currently serves as the CEO of FAVORIOT Sdn Bhd, a major IoT startup. A graduate of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Dr. Mazlan earned his MSc in Telematics from the University of Essex and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He also received an Honorary Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from UTHM. He is an adjunct professor at various universities and a frequent speaker at globally recognized IoT, IR 4.0, Smart Cities, and telecom conferences.
