Sanjeet Mehta, an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in retail, marketing, and advertising, leads Disney's Consumer Products and retail operations across India, Indonesia, and emerging markets in South Asia and MENA. With a strong background in handling diverse product categories and companies in competitive environments, he spearheads start-ups and drives growth in various categories such as fashion, toys, food, consumer electronics, and stationery.
Sanjeet holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Narsee Monjee College and a Masters of Management Studies from the University of Mumbai. Before joining Disney, he held key positions at global brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and Villeroy & Boch, where he oversaw various aspects of the businesses, from marketing and licensing to business development and operations.
As Executive Director for India, MENA & Indonesia, Sanjeet is responsible for devising and implementing strategy across multiple categories and guiding the overall strategic direction for the division across SEA, India and MENA. Under his leadership, Disney has grown its business in the region, bringing beloved characters and franchises to millions of consumers.
