Liz Pisacreta is an accomplished researcher, consultant, and educator with extensive experience in the field of education. With a Doctorate in Philosophy, Education, and Economics from Columbia University, a Master's in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Pisacreta exhibits a broad range of expertise that is hard to overlook.
Throughout her career, Pisacreta has worked across various organizations, including Ll&B Consulting, Ithaka S+R, Usny Regents Research Fund, and the NYC Department of Education. At Scripted, she co-founded the organization and served as the Chief Education Officer. She has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Hunter College and a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University.
Before moving to teaching and research, Pisacreta worked as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for Teach for America, where she developed a strong grounding in the challenges that students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, face in the education system. Her experience in the field and as a teacher has allowed her to gain a unique perspective on education that few can match.
From her extensive experience, Pisacreta has developed keen research, analytical, and problem-solving skills that have contributed to her success at every level. Furthermore, her experience in teaching has allowed her to develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
