Andra Oprisan is a seasoned design industry professional with over 12 years of experience in the field. She has worked as a graphic designer, brand strategist, innovation strategist, and digital design strategist. Oprisan has worked on projects ranging in scale from one-day sprints to multi-year organizational transformations in almost any industry. Her proudest achievements include rebranding Youtube, being part of Sodexo's global repositioning, assisting Wally Olins in writing his last book Brand New, setting up an innovation lab in Madrid, teaching design innovation with LaunchBox at Mines St Etienne, and working with clients such as Telefonica Product Innovation, Flying Tiger, ASDA, King's College London, QIC Australia, BBVA, and Tiffany & Co. Currently, she is a part of Repsol's UX team, helping to set up a new practice while supporting the company's ambition to become a carbon-neutral, digital-first energy provider. Oprisan's passion lies in helping to turn uncertainties into courses of action. She is a critical thinking junkie who is skilled in connecting the dots, mastering the art of observing, and trying to keep an eye on where society is moving towards. Oprisan has studied at Brunel University and Academia de Studii Economice din București and has worked across 15 countries. Although she currently calls Madrid home, her work footprint spans far and wide. Oprisan loves writing about the transversality of design and the impact strategic design has on society and culture.
