Charlotte Hunter
Toronto-based family physician, Charlotte Hunter, has dedicated her career to serving marginalized populations in urban and remote areas of Canada. With a Bachelor's Degree in Global Health and extensive clinical experience in HIV primary care, addiction medicine, transgender care, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, environmental health, and homelessness, she is a well-rounded healthcare professional. Before pursuing medical training, she gained clinical experience in South Africa and Namibia while working on HIV/Infectious disease units. Hunter is currently completing her MSc Public Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She previously worked at St. Michael's Hospital, Hassle Free Women’s Clinic, Casey House, Qikiqtani General Hospital, Women's Health in Women's Hands CHC, and Parkdale Community Health Centre. As a Support Care Volunteer at Casey House Foundation, she learned the importance of compassion in providing health care.
