Wayne Lin

Upside co-founder and COO Wayne Lin is an expert in creating and managing communities to ensure that people have the spaces, occasions, and opportunities to come together. Lin received a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Northwestern University, an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and studied Mandarin Chinese at National Taiwan Normal University. He previously worked as Vice President of Product Management and Analytics and as Senior Director of Product Management at Opower, and founded the ecoLightbulbs and served as a Product Manager at Google and Associate Consultant at ZS Associates. Lin is passionate about building platforms that help local communities thrive and welcomes conversations with like-minded people.
