Sandra Carvajal is a seasoned Social Innovation Consultant and International Development Practitioner with extensive experience in blended finance models, impact investment, impact measurement, social enterprise development, multi-stakeholder partnerships, and capacity building at a senior level. She has supported INGOs and social entrepreneurs to scale their work globally through her significant expertise in management of large multi-disciplinary projects, business development, and design and acquisition. Carvajal studied Communications, Media Arts and Production at University of Technology, Sydney, In-country study at Università di Bologna, and Political Science and Government at Universidad de Granada. Currently serving as the Senior Advisor Social Finance, Tri-Sector Partnering at World Vision Australia, her previous positions include Impact Investment and Program Development Manager, Program Development Coordinator, Corporate Relations Manager, and Development Officer at Good Return, as well as Microloans Administrator at Asylum Seekers Centre and Research Associate at Grameen-Jameel Microfinance Ltd. Carvajal's experience in the film production industry as a Film & Television Producer/Director and a Production Coordinator for Shanghai Rush at FLY Films is an added advantage that expands her skillset.
