Lawrence Palumbo

Lawrence Palumbo is the Managing Director and Head of US Equity Real Estate Separate Accounts at BlackRock, overseeing investment and customization strategies for large real estate clients.

With a background in real estate transactions, Mr. Palumbo has been instrumental in direct property, joint venture, and forward commitment acquisitions in the New York and Philadelphia areas.

Prior to his current role, he served as the Director and New York metro regional head of real estate transactions at BlackRock, managing joint ventures and loan restructurings with major counterparties.

Before joining BlackRock, Lawrence Palumbo worked as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing real estate advisory services to pension fund clients.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a Master's degree in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University.

An active member of the Urban Land Institute, Mr. Palumbo also serves on the board of directors of the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate and the Georgetown Real Estate Finance Initiative.
