Jill Jensen Lovato

Jill Jensen Lovato is the Head of Communications, Networking, and Edge technology at the Linux Foundation, overseeing MarComm & PR strategy for nearly 20 open source networking and edge projects.

With over 15 years of experience in tech communications, Jill has a diverse background in public relations and marketing across various sectors, including open source, small businesses, and fortune 500 companies.

Her expertise lies in transforming complex technical information into engaging narratives and storytelling, offering skills in vertical and general tech public relations strategies, integrated media campaigns, crisis communications, analyst relations and research, stakeholder and partner integration, social media strategy, content creation, community management, and executive communications.

Jill holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Broadcast Journalism & Communications from Arizona State University.

She has previously served as a Senior Manager of Public Relations at The Linux Foundation and held positions such as PR Account Manager at Microsoft Windows at Waggener Edstrom Communications, Marketing Coordinator at Professional Beauty Association, and MarComm/Sales Assistant at CBS Radio.
