Robert T. Chin

Robert Chin, CEO of the Aquilini Beverage Group, based in Vancouver, is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the alcohol beverage industry. He has an MBA in General Management and a BA from the University of British Columbia. He also has executive education from Columbia Business School in Digital Marketing Strategy and CMO Academy and is certified in Digital Marketing from General Assembly.

Robert's diverse experience includes sales management, distributor management, brand management, and leading E.& J. Gallo Winery's media, public relations, creative, digital/social, and hospitality functions. He has also been an advisor to CEOs of several wine brands/tech companies, preparing him for his current role. Robert's primary focus is building the Aquilini beverage business, which includes wine, RTDs, liquor, and soon-to-be-launched innovations and export markets.

Robert's unique background, combined with his passion for sports and competition, has prepared him for the challenges of bringing Washington into the conversation among the best wine regions globally. He often works out of Rogers Arena, home of his favorite sports team, the NHL's Vancouver Canucks, and has set up an office in greater Seattle to be near the Red Mountain AVA, one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in Washington state.

Robert is a Northern California transplant who grew up in Vancouver, B.C., and has lived in several cities across North America, including Guyana, Toronto, Halifax, Seattle, and Frisco, TX. However, he plans to move his family back to the Pacific Northwest eventually.
