J.J. O'Toole-Curran, the Senior Associate Director of the KU Memorial Union Corporation at the University of Kansas, leads the Union's efforts in providing student leadership and programming opportunities to the KU community while overseeing IT and marketing services to support KU Bookstore and KU Dining Services. O'Toole-Curran has extensive experience in higher education, event and risk management, and marketing with a track record of change management focused on assessment, data-driven decision making, and strategy. Prior to joining KU, O'Toole-Curran held positions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Washburn University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Tulsa. In addition to his Union responsibilities, he developed and co-teaches an undergraduate course in event management as part of KU's Institute for Leadership Studies. O'Toole-Curran holds three degrees from Kansas public universities, including his Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of Kansas.
