Zohray Talib, MD, is a distinguished academician, clinician-educator, and global health expert with over 20 years of experience in medical education, research, and service delivery. She currently serves as the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Chair of the Department of Medical Education at California University of Science and Medicine. Dr. Talib's expertise lies in social accountability in health professions education and she has a particular interest in community-based education, decentralized training, and building a diverse faculty workforce to provide health professions education, research, and services especially for underserved communities. Dr. Talib is also a practicing internal medicine primary care physician and has led global health initiatives in Central Asia and East Africa, including community-based cancer screening, mental health integration, and clinical research training for academic faculty.

She has previously held leadership roles at the Aga Khan University, George Washington University, University of Global Health Equity, and as Co-Chair of the Global Forum on Innovation in Health Professional Education at the National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Talib is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and has published extensively on medical education and global health issues in peer-reviewed journals.
