- Responsible for daily operations and editorial planning of DiabetesMine, a leading health and patient advocacy site acquired by Healthline in January 2015. Became part of Red Ventures in 2019.
- Manage the content creation of 12 to 20 original diabetes-focused health articles a month, focusing on everything from breaking news, expert interviews, product reviews, and feature stories.
- Reporting and monitoring the diabetes news and technology space, including frequent interactions with industry executives and worldwide experts on diabetes subject matters
- Assign articles and collaborating with freelance writers
- Copy editing duties from start to finish (AP style and site-specific health formatting)
- Analyzing metrics to monitor the performance of articles (using Studio Dashboard, Google analytics)
- Work collaboratively with SEO team and others in production for article creation and enhancements
- Overseeing social media efforts to promote articles and participate in community through Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter platforms

Responsible for writing both breaking news and feature posts on diabetes and health topics; editing and producing content; coordinating short-term and long-term editorial calendar; supervising a team of freelance writers; managing and building our social media channels while cross-promoting our content on other online sites; and serving as a patient advocate in the diabetes and broader health communities.
