Carlin Flora is a seasoned journalist, content marketer, author, and editor with a wealth of experience in writing, editing, and managing editorial teams. She holds an MS in Journalism from Columbia University and a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan. Her book, "Friendfluence," published by Doubleday, examines how friends shape one's personality, behavior, and choices.

Currently, Carlin oversees a team of seven writers as an Editorial Director at Group SJR, a content marketing agency. She creates and edits content for diverse media, including reports, podcasts, videos, and executive bylines on a range of topics such as finance, health care, and learning. She also builds strong relationships with clients ranging from top corporations, strategizes new business pitches, coordinates with art and production teams, and more. Previously, she served as a Managing Editor and Senior Editor at Group SJR.

Throughout her career, Carlin has honed her skills in shaping compelling stories, line editing, idea generation, message creation, and building client relationships. At Psychology Today, where she worked as a Features Editor, she gained invaluable experience in editing and writing content on a range of social science and human interest topics.
