Maike van Grootel is an accomplished sustainability entrepreneur and project manager with experience across the renewable energy and sustainability industries. After earning a Master of Science in International Business at Maastricht University and an MA in International Studies at the University of Sydney, Maike went on to work for organizations like WWF, Essent, and Amsterdam Smart City. She co-founded the Sunny Side Up Foundation and has worked as a proponent of smart energy and sustainability for the Dutch government. As a project manager and facilitator, Maike has overseen initiatives focused on urban energy, e-mobility, and more. She currently runs her own sustainable entrepreneurship venture under the name "MAIKE."
