Richard Rudd is a highly experienced engineering geologist with over a decade of experience in heavy civil, geotechnical, geological, and environmental projects. He has a comprehensive understanding and has worked on numerous programs supporting water, energy, land development, mining, renewable resources, telecommunication, and transport infrastructure projects. His extensive expertise extends to feasibility and alignment studies, ground characterization, construction oversight, factual and interpretive reporting, cost estimation, engineering design, leading large, complex technical proposals, and much more.

Additionally, Richard is equipped with strong leadership qualities, teamwork, customer service, and excellent interpersonal skills. He is an experienced project manager and has also managed large dedicated teams of geotechnical professionals across numerous countries worldwide, such as New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific Islands, the United Kingdom, Middle East and the USA. He is passionate about utilizing technology, adapting to new work environments, and employing various operating systems in the course of his work.

Richard has studied geological and earth sciences/geosciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Before joining Entura as a Team Leader in Dams and Geotechnical Engineering, Richard had worked for various well-known companies such as WSP Opus, Coffey, AECOM, 4DGeotechnics Pty Ltd., URS Corporation, Black & Veatch, and Harrison Grierson Consultants Ltd.
