Micah Cogen

Micah Cogen is a highly accomplished legal professional with a strong educational background.

He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Order of the Coif. At Northwestern, Micah also served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Law Review, showcasing his editorial and analytical skills.

Prior to his law degree, Micah pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy at Trinity College-Hartford, where he was recognized for academic excellence by being inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

Micah's impressive career includes roles at prestigious organizations such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where he currently serves as Senior Counsel in the Law and Policy division. His previous positions include being an Associate Attorney at Jenner & Block and serving as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

In addition to his work in the private sector, Micah Cogen has valuable experience in the judiciary, having served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Hon. Ralph K. Winter and Hon. Diane S. Sykes at the U.S. Courts of Appeals. These roles have honed his legal research and writing abilities while providing insights into judicial decision-making processes.
