Peter's expertise includes freebsd, linux, apache, mysql/postgresql, dns, python, django, php, perl, shell scripting, networking, BGP4, cisco, foundry, juniper, OSPF, VLAN, firewalls, postfix, nginx, wsgi, flask, tornado, fabric, and more. He specializes in high availability projects and building fun software using open-source technologies.

Peter has a degree in Computer Science from Technical Vocational Institute and has worked for various organizations as a Sr. Python Developer, Co-Owner/Director of Engineering, Sr. Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, and Technical Support. He is an all-around good guy with a massive love for most things open source. Peter prefers Vim editor, less pager, BSD based licenses, TCSH shells, FreeBSD, code or software that can automate his job, and RDBMS and MTA's that start with the word "Post."
