Jon Moore, a software engineer based in West Philadelphia, has built an impressive career spanning various technology-related roles. Having studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania, Jon has held a range of positions, from start-ups to large corporations.

With experience being a management consultant, tech lead, architect, network engineer, and technology executive, Jon has a passion for software engineering. He is equally confident leading and managing teams and personally writing production-ready code. His current interests include building healthy and engaging engineering cultures, distributed systems, fault tolerance, and Texas Hold'em.

Jon has worked for various organizations, including Stripe, JRugged, Comcast, and UPenn CIS Department Advisory Board. Additionally, he has owned his LLC named Jon Moore Consulting and has worked for several other organizations in different technical positions. He has also contributed to Apache HttpComponents Project as a committer, project management committee member.
