Eoin Kelly is a chartered geotechnical engineer with over 17 years of experience in several engineering consultancies in Ireland and the Middle East. He has progressed from a graduate engineer to a principal geotechnical engineer, gaining extensive knowledge in ground investigation, interpretive reporting, project management, geotechnical design, site supervision, earthworks, reclamation works, and ground improvement. Kelly has worked on various civil engineering projects, including highways, port and marine works, flood alleviation schemes, rail projects, waste, energy and environmental projects, and commercial and retail building developments.

Kelly is responsible for managing junior engineers, reviewing work carried out for ground investigation, reporting and design, and using various geotechnical software packages such as Slope/W, Wallap, gINT, Surfer and HoleBase. With a keen interest in renewable energy, he has completed several certificate courses, including Renewable Energy Systems, Environmental Design of Buildings, and Domestic Energy Management.

Kelly has a Master of Science in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. He also studied Environmental Design at the National Irish Centre for Energy Rating (NICER) / Greenworks. Currently, Kelly is a Senior Consultant - Ground Engineering at WSP, having previously held positions such as Senior/Principal Engineer at Ramboll, Geotechnical Engineer at Ground Investigations Ireland Ltd, Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Atkins Ireland Ltd, Geotechnical Engineer at Jacobs Engineering Ireland Ltd, and Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Bernard Murphy & Associates (BMA).
