Karen Soul is an accomplished academician and administrator who has devoted her career to furthering education. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth, Soul is a distinguished academician who has distinguished herself as an Associate Professor of Education and Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Centenary College of Louisiana.
During her tenure at Centenary College, Soul held various positions of distinction, including Interim Provost, Associate Provost, and Department of Education Chair. As an NCATE Accreditation Coordinator, she was instrumental in ensuring that the college met the highest standards of educational excellence.
Soul's experience as an educator is diverse and extensive. Before starting her teaching career at Centenary College, she taught second grade students at the Eanes Independent School District in Texas. In addition, she has worked as an Instructor of Education at the University of Minnesota Duluth, a Title I Reading and Math Specialist at Morgan Park Middle School, and a Computer Instructor at Piedmont Elementary School.
Throughout her professional life, Soul has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in education. She is deeply passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and has a wealth of experience in curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation.
