Brian Newkirk is a biotech industry leader with a diverse background in business, science, and policy. He earned an A.B. in Political Theory and Biochemistry from Bowdoin College, followed by an MBA and SM in Biomedical Enterprise from MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Medical School, respectively.

Newkirk has held various senior leadership positions throughout his career, including VP, Program Team Leader and Head of New Product Planning at Dyne Therapeutics, Senior Director, Head of Global Market Access and Pricing, and Director of Business Planning and Program Management at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. He also co-founded MoMelan Technologies, a medical device startup.

Prior to working in the biotech industry, Newkirk served as a Legislative Assistant at the Office of Congressman Jim Cooper and worked at various policy research institutes, including the Progressive Policy Institute and Democratic Leadership Council. He was also an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients on various strategic and operational issues.
