Brian French has been involved in the web hosting industry since the mid-90s and has held various positions in tech sales. He founded Net Expressions Web Services, which went on to resell for NetNation. AptHost Communications Inc., his hosting division, was launched after years of exploration in the web industry. Brian worked tirelessly to create a strong offering, which led to a merger with someone who was struggling to do the same thing. In 2007, they re-launched AptHost with a new site design, revamped product offering, and became the industry's first shared host to offer FFMPEG hosting. AptHost became very popular and grew rapidly. Brian left AptHost and worked in building maintenance, where he currently serves. He studied business development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
