Barbara Sweet, a seasoned professional in the world of human-centered technology design and integration, boasts over 30 years of experience at NASA and four successful years as a Manager at Apple. With a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and an M.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, Sweet is a Generalist-Specialist with a diverse set of skills and knowledge. Throughout her career, Sweet has developed a passion for designing and integrating technology that supports the performance of dynamic tasks, such as flying, driving, or gaming. Her expertise includes practical experience, existing scientific knowledge, analysis, and experimentation to inform smart design choices.

Before Sweet's role as an Engineering Program Manager at ProUnlimited@Apple, she served as a Retired Manager, Instrumentation System Scientist, Aerospace Engineer/Human-Machine Systems, Lead Scientist, Human Factors Researcher, Manager, and Flight Instructor at NASA Ames Research Center.
