Danny Crichton
Danny Crichton is a seasoned journalist, venture capitalist, and analyst in the technology industry. He is currently working as the Head of Editorial at Lux Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in emerging scientific and technological ventures. Prior to this, he was the Managing Editor and Foreign Correspondent in South Korea for TechCrunch, the leading technology media property globally, and consulting venture capitalist for ConsenSys, a blockchain venture studio.
Danny has also worked as an Associate Venture Capitalist at General Catalyst and CRV (Charles River Ventures), and as a startup founder at New Co. He has received a Fulbright scholarship for his research on the development of Korea’s startup ecosystem while studying for his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Policy at Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Prior to this, he studied Mathematical and Computational Sciences, Honors in Science, Technology, and Society at Stanford University.
