Liam Norton is a technical engineering team manager who has made his way up the ladder in startups to medium-sized organizations. Norton has studied at Horsham College and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Melbourne University. He currently leads teams in the Foundation organization at Zendesk where they build the platform, tools, and services to assist product engineering.
Prior to this role, Norton was the Director at Core Component and worked his way up in different roles at Zendesk, including Software Engineering Team Lead, Staff Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Norton has also held positions at Flippa, Lonely Planet, Norton Web Services, and Wrights Container Logistics.
In his early days, Norton was a professional basketball player at Melbourne Tigers Basketball Club Limited and worked in the Help Desk department at Message Media.
Norton's career has been focused on software engineering, team management, and product development. He has experience in startups and medium-sized organizations and has worked his way up through the ranks at Zendesk. Norton's expertise lies in building and managing technical teams while developing products and services for customers.
