As a part of this role , in addition to my responsibilities of SSE,  I am primarily responsible to improve the efficiency of the Accessibility testing and triaging processes at CA. After due diligence of existing accessibility solutions in market, drafted a business case to developed a new tool to support Enterprise Accessibility Management at CA. Using MEAN stack, developed an SaaS solution to perform extensive automated accessibility testing, bug reporting mechanism and a system to visualize the Section 508 ( WCAG 2.1 ) statement. The tool also specializes in collaboration features that immensely decreases defect triage time. This task involves immense coding with Angular, Nodejs and MongoDB.  Also involves devOps built on AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.

Principal Software Engineer ( Specialization Accessibility )

As a technical lead at CA Accessibility CoE, I am responsible for improving the accessibility experience of CA products and component libraries.  On a regular basis I need to work closely with product teams to ensure Accessibility and Federal compliance requirements ( Section 508 refresh, WCAG 2.1, EN 301 549 ) are being implemented in CA product release. This would involve me to investigate, report, triage accessibility issues with product teams and help them in remediation. My work also involves to build accessibility test plans for new feature in development, encouraging a shift left strategy for including Accessibility. During this tenure at CA, I have performed many quick audits and have written multiple  VPATs based on Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 standards. Also presented a session on Accessibility Shift Left strategy for Enterprises in 33rd CSUN AT Conference.

As a UI consultant at Deloitte, I am responsible for developing front-end solutions for complex data driven interfaces , develop framework and supplement tools to make the UI performance management effective. Worked on projects for clients - David Yurman, Hitachi Data Systems and VMWare. Technical skills to perform this role involved HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript [ES5, ES6], NodeJS, Express, RWD, REST, Web Components, jQuery, SocketIO, Angularjs, MEAN stack, Bootstrap, SASS, LESS, Grunt, NPM, Bower, Yeoman, MongoDB. I had lead a team of 6 while working for HDS. Also worked on Accessibility issue remediation for DY.

As a SSE at SFDC, I am involved in rapid prototyping of the latest and best features of <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a> platform to create enterprise demos for the Sales team. Creating of these demos would require me learn and be expert in Apex, Visualforce, API integrations, Heroku , UI, Jquery, Ajax and Ruby programming. It also involves prototypes to be built for both web and iOS platform.

As a UI developer at UHG, I was responsible for developing web pages for the latest modules Ulayer and AARP - two of the major UHG Ovations client portals.  HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Jquery were the core technical skills in use to perform the role. I was worked on the android mobile site of the same application for UHC U-layer Enrollment procedure.

Started my career as a web developer with core focus on building website using HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery which were cross browser compliant. Worked for few key accounts of Cognizant - American Express, UHG and Nissan. Few other responsibilities involved:- Handled Cross Browser css and javascript issues with perfection to make application UI pixel perfect in different browser versions  (IE6, IE7, IE8, FF2, FF3, Chrome and Safari).-Redesigning the then existent American Express Consumer travel web application to match the Accessibility standards levied in Section 508 Complaints, WCAG 1.0 and WCAG 2.0 and iGuide.-Developed the Nissan Chinese Microsite.  Developed non-flash version UI website for Z-micorsite.Tools interacted : Day Communique ( currently known as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)), SVN, Plumtree ( CMS ), Dreamweaver, JAWS ( screen reader ).External Certfication:Sun Certification for Java 2 Platform SE 5.0 by the Sun Microsystems.Internal Certification:Cognizant Certified Programmer in Core Java.;
