Francesco Carbone, an Oxford MBA and PhD cum laude holder in Machine Learning, has been appointed as a Sr Manager leading the Engineering and Machine Learning team for the Alexa Music, Video, and Books voice experience at Amazon. With over 15 years of experience in software development for consumers and developers, Francesco has held various senior leadership positions at Amazon, including Principal Product Manager and Sr. Product Manager. Prior to Amazon, Francesco was a researcher and an Applied Scientist at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Francesco's passion lies in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and he has been instrumental in creating some of Alexa's key features.
