Georgia Sapounas has accumulated over ten years of expertise in the sports industry as a brand and digital marketing executive, activating several Olympic Games before transitioning to the NBA. Prior to her digital sports career, she was an athlete in the Canadian National Team for almost a decade, becoming a 4x National Champion and World Bronze Medallist in Synchronized Skating.

Georgia possesses a Graduate degree in Leadership from Landmark Education, an HBA in Visual Culture, Communications, and Information Technology (CCIT) & Art and Art History from the University of Toronto, a Diploma in Digital Communications from Sheridan College, and Business Administration and Management education from the Smith School of Business of Queen's University.

She is an expert in developing multi-channel digital strategies that connect brands and consumers, focusing on the fan experience through mobile-first digital products (web, app), content, branded content, and social media. Her experience includes successful case studies in brand excellence, digital monetization, and promoting a growth mindset while fostering learning and development in her team.

Georgia has worked with some of the world's most notable brands and organizations, including the Canadian Olympic Committee, BMO, Ontario Real Estate Association, and lululemon athletica. She is currently the Director of Digital Products & Innovation at Cleveland Cavaliers.
