Rory O'Malley is a highly skilled and experienced hydraulic services design consultant with over seventeen years of experience in the plumbing construction industry. He started his career as a plumber, drainer and gas fitter, and then progressed to become a fully qualified plumbing tradesman, foreman, estimator, project manager, design draftsman, BIM designer and licensed QBCC hydraulic services design consultant.

O'Malley has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from multi-story residential and commercial buildings to health and industrial facilities. He is currently the hydraulic principal/senior hydraulic consultant at DMA Engineers, where he communicates effectively with project managers, architects, developers, local authorities, infrastructure networks, builders, and plumbing contractors. O'Malley's practical understanding of the build-ability and implementation of hydraulics ensures that his projects are efficient, cost-effective, and reliable.

O'Malley holds a Diploma of Hydraulic Services Design from TAFE Queensland Brisbane and attended St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace. He has worked at various organizations, including Lehr Paul & Partners, Aqualogical, and Plumbtec QLD Pty Ltd.

O'Malley has a passion for the plumbing industry and enjoys demonstrating his on-site experience combined with technical knowledge. He is an outcome-focused individual who takes great pride in achieving the best possible results for his clients. O'Malley has a high level of dedication to his work, loves interacting with clients and colleagues, and is an adaptable individual who can quickly understand different systems and procedures.
