Bill Leech is a highly skilled Public Health Specialist and labor organizer with years of experience in the government administration sector. He earned his BA in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Michigan and went on to receive his Master's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the ILR School at Cornell University. Bill has honed his skills in grassroots organizing, coalition building, community engagement, and community outreach. His previous roles include Shop Steward at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Public Health Specialist for the City of New York, Peace Corps Volunteer, Head of Client Strategy at Versa, and Field Organizer for ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA in Pennsylvania. Bill has also served as the Chief Native English Teacher at Avalon/LangCon English Academy, a Corporate Relations Representative at United Way of Southeastern Michigan, and a Legislative Intern for the Office of US Senator Debbie Stabenow.
