Jason Clark is a seasoned developer with over a decade of experience in ops/devops in the cable industry before he transitioned to focus on distributed and serverless computing on AWS. He has worked for well-known companies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Stedi, Placeable, and VictorOps, and is proficient in Typescript, Go, Common Lisp, Rust, Elixir, Erlang, Javascript, Clojure, Python, Scala, C#, Postgres, MySql, Cucumber, and Bash scripting.

Jason enjoys tinkering with Rust and Go when they meet the requirements and has a passion for Common Lisp, which he uses for fun. He contributes to Elixir/Golang/Common Lisp/asdf-vm libraries and OSS projects involving address parsing, fuzzy string matching, and dev environment ergonomics. Jason's development expertise includes ElasticSearch, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lucene, and Terraform, among others.

He is proficient in AWS CDK and well-versed in deployment automation technologies like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CircleCI, Puppet, Salt, Redhat, and Ubuntu. Working at AWS exposed him to many of their services, making him competent in the js/ts/go/rust SDKs for the services.

When he's not coding, Jason likes to work on a few software projects with friends, play with gadgets in the SignaltoNoiseLabs group, and spend time with his daughter exploring Denver's parks.
