Michael Oh
Michael Oh, Ph.D., is a well-respected leader in the Christian community, known for his work in missions, theological education, mobilization, and anthropology. He is the Global Executive Director / CEO of the Lausanne Movement, an international organization dedicated to advancing the gospel around the world. Dr. Oh is also the board chairman and founder of CBI Japan, which includes a graduate-level theological seminary, church planting efforts, and various outreach ministries.
Dr. Oh has an impressive education background, having received his Ph.D. in Education, Culture, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania on a Kellogg scholarship. He also has a master's degree in Regional Studies East Asia from Harvard University, a Master of Divinity in Missions from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Oh has been a featured speaker at Urbana and the 2009 Desiring God Pastor's Conference, where he spoke on reconciliation and "Missions as Fasting: The Forsaking of Things Present for the Global Exaltation of Christ." He has also served on the Board of the Lausanne Movement since 2007.
